MONS, Belgium, May 20 (UPI) -- Composer Salvatore Acquaviva accused Madonna of stealing his song for her 1998 hit "Frozen" in testimony on his lawsuit filed in Mons, Belgium.
The Belgian composer claims Madonna lifted several bars from his 1993 song, "My Life's Getting Nowhere."

His lawyers said Madonna may have heard the tune when she met with Acquaviva's producer, the World Entertainment News Network reported Friday.
Madonna's attorney, Fabienne Brison, denied the allegations and said Acquaviva's suit was motivated by a desire for Madonna's money.
Royalties on "Frozen" have been halted until the suit is resolved.
