Waitress wins 'America's Next Top Model'

NEW YORK, May 19 (UPI) -- A Detroit coffee shop waitress won the UPN's "America's Next Top Model" contest and vowed never to take part in a reality series again.

Naima Mora, 20, actually knew she beat out 13 other women for the title seven months ago, but had signed a confidentiality agreement not to tell anyone.

Instead, she went back to work serving coffee, the New York Post said Thursday.

Each woman was judged on how well she performed a number of tasks, from runway strutting to makeup application to keeping cool during photo shoots.

The prize includes a contract with the Ford modeling agency and a photo spread in Elle magazine.

Mora said she thought going into the competition would be a good career opportunity, but now she is older and wiser.

"I would never, ever do this again," she said.
