'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo
HOLLYWOOD, May 16 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn says the reason her longtime relationship with actor Kurt Russell is so strong is because they have never married.
The blonde 59-year-old met the 54-year-old Russell in 1982 while the two filmed "Swing Shift."
Hawn was married twice previously and Russell was married once, but Hawn laughed at reports that she would marry her partner of more than 20 years, the World Entertainment News Network reported Monday.
"We are often asked why we have never married," Hawn says in her autobiography "A Lotus Grows in the Mud."
"I laugh it off and say, 'Been there, done that.' It didn't work for either of us," Hawn says.
