Prince Harry begins military training

SURREY, England, May 9 (UPI) -- Britain's Prince Harry began his first day of military training and grabbed the tabloid headlines anew when his limousine hit a parked car.

Prince Charles accompanied Harry as his 20-year-old son kept the family's tradition of military service by enrolling at Sandhurst Royal Military Academy, the Times of London reported Monday.

During his two years at Eton College, Prince Harry was involved in a series of embarrassing incidents, including wearing a Nazi uniform to a party.

The prince, who must remain at the Surrey, England, military base for his first five weeks, grabbed headlines for a weekend incident in London in which his limo hit a parked car and left the scene.

Separately, an employment tribunal was to begin weighing the appeal of fired Eton art teacher Sarah Forsyth, who recorded a conversation with the prince to prove her allegations of harassment at the college.
