Possible juror conflict in Jackson trial

SANTA MARIA, Calif., May 5 (UPI) -- Questions about one of the jurors in the Michael Jackson child molestation trial could mean removal of the juror, it was reported Thursday.

ABC News said a key witness, who testified he was molested by Jackson as a child, works with a sister of Juror No. 11 in a small auto parts store in Santa Maria, Calif., a few blocks from the trial site.

ABC quoted sources as saying the court found out about the possible conflict Thursday morning and the revelation could lead to the removal of the juror, a 20-year-old Hispanic male cashier.

Prosecutors rested their case Wednesday against Jackson, who is on trial for allegedly molesting a now-15-year-old boy who spent time at his Neverland Ranch and appeared with him in the 2003 British documentary, "Living With Michael Jackson."
