LOS ANGELES, May 5 (UPI) -- Cameron Diaz will star in writer-director Nancy Meyers' "Holiday" for Sony Pictures Entertainment this fall, Daily Variety said Thursday.
The project is described as an ensemble comedy, in which Diaz will play a woman with man trouble, who meets a woman in a small English village who has troubles of her own.

Meyers is best known for the Jack Nicholson-Diane Keaton comedy "Something's Gotta Give" and the Mel Gibson-Helen Hunt comedy "What Women Want."
According to Variety, Diaz's deal is still being negotiated. She is due on theater screens later this year in director Curtis Hanson's "In Her Shoes."
