Tim Johnson ("Antz") and "Chicken Run" screenwriter Karey Kirkpatrick are directing.

"Over the Hedge" is described as the story of a mischievous raccoon (Bruce Willis) and his best friend, a turtle (Garry Shandling), who join with other forest creatures to save their habitat from suburban sprawl.

Len Blum ("Private Parts," "Beethoven's 2nd") wrote the screenplay, based on a comic strip by Michael Fry and T. Lewis.
