Ewan McGregor to do live theater in London

LONDON, April 14 (UPI) -- Scottish film star Ewan McGregor has signed a six-month contract to play gangster playboy Sky Masterson in a London revival of "Guys and Dolls."

McGregor, who is taking a big pay cut to play the part, said the opportunity presents him with unique artistic challenges, the World Entertainment News Network reported Thursday.

"I do find it daunting going back to live theater after movies," he said. "I can't wait but I'll really have to work hard to master the stage fright."

The musical opens June 1 at London's Piccadilly Theater.
