
HOLLYWOOD, April 6 (UPI) -- Oscar-winning filmmaker Robert Redford lends his voice to Ike the arachnophobic horse in the upcoming movie of the children's classic "Charlotte's Web."
The 67-year-old Redford joins an all-star voice cast that includes Julia Roberts as Charlotte, Steve Buscemi as Rat Templeton, and Oprah Winfrey as Gussy the Goose, Zap2it.com reported.
Director Gary Winick was in Melbourne, Australia, shooting the film adaptation of the E.B. White classic that is being co-produced by Paramount Pictures, Walden Media and Nickelodeon Movies.
Dakota Fanning will play Fern, the farm girl who befriends Ike, who must overcome his fear of spiders.
"Sideways" actor Thomas Haden Church and Outkast's Andre 3000 will lend their voices to crows Brooks and Elwyn.
Reba McEntire and Kathy Bates will be the voices behind bovines Betsy and Bitsy.
