HOUSTON, March 23 (UPI) -- A book about a Houston dentist convicted of murder for running over her cheating husband is the subject of a lawsuit, the Houston Chronicle reports.

"Out of Control" by Steven H. Long and published by St. Martin's Press is about Clara Harris, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison in the 2002 murder of David Harris, whom she ran over after finding him with his mistress at a hotel, the Chronicle reported Wednesday in a copyright story.

The defamation suit by Julie Knight, the best friend of mistress Gail Bridges, claims the book is "filled with lies, slander and accusations against" Knight that include the repetition of allegations she and Bridges are lovers, the Chronicle said.

Knight is seeking unspecified damages and attorney's fees.
