EDINBURGH, Scotland, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- The WWE RAW wrestling superstars are preparing to slam down in Edinburgh, Scotland, as part of their Australian and European tour.

The spectacle, staged at the Royal Highland Centre in April, was expected to sell out hours after 10,500 tickets went on sale Saturday, reported the Scotsman.

"'Braveheart' is one of my all-time favorite films, so I can't wait to see your country again. We're going to put on a really good show for our Scottish fans," said Randy Orton, who is the youngest world heavyweight champion in WWE history.

"In Scotland and England, the fans really support us, perhaps more so than in America because of the over-saturation of wrestling in the States."

Tickets for the event range from $19 to $115.

Hulk Hogan and his WWE wrestling friends/enemies performed at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh in 1993.
