NEW YORK, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Canadian singer Shania Twain has announced she will develop and market a fragrance line for the fragrance company Stetson Fragrances.
With scores of hits and five Grammy wins, Twain is the best-selling female country artist of all time -- three consecutive albums topped record sales of 65 million copies worldwide.
"I wanted to partner with a company that would be able to express my personality through their products, Stetson is a great fit for me to accomplish this," Twain said in a statement. "Like a favorite song, a scent evokes a memory, creates a mood and inspires a feeling."
The Stetson brand is part of Coty Inc., which markets numerous fragrances including: Celine Dion, Jovan, Aspen, Isabella Rossellini, Jennifer Lopez and Kenneth Cole.
