LOS ANGELES, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- The cast of the 1974-84 sitcom "Happy Days" will reunite on ABC Thursday to reminisce and speculate on the show's long-running syndication.

The 2-hour "Happy Days 30th Anniversary Reunion" will feature clips, outtakes and memories from Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Tom Bosley, Marion Ross, Anson Williams, Don Most, Scott Baio and Erin Moran. Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams, alias Laverne and Shirley in a popular spin-off series, also make appearances.

The success of the 1973 movie "American Graffiti," in which Howard starred, is often cited as the inspiration for the show, but it was in fact based on a 1972 episode of the ABC comedy anthology "Love, American Style," Zap2it.com reports
