LAS VEGAS, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman gave three Playboy Playmates keys to the city after posing with them for a spread in the 2006 swimwear calendar.

The upcoming calendar features the gambling resort, using Las Vegas as a backdrop for all 12 months. Goodman posed with Jennifer Walcott, Scarlett Keegan and Destiny Davis, although the 65-year-old mayor wore a business suit instead of swim trunks, the Las Vegas Journal Review reports.

"I love women who have life and vitality and vim and vigor. These ladies certainly have that," Goodman said.

The mayor said he welcomes the calendar because the people likely to buy it are exactly the clientele Las Vegas hopes to woo.

Previous recipients of keys to Las Vegas have ranged from Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld to two California Raisins.
