PALM BEACH, Fla., Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Donald Trump and Slovenian model Melania Knauss tied the knot in Palm Beach, Fla., in a short dignified ceremony with some 300 in attendance.

The 58-year-old twice-divorced New York developer and the former model were wed Saturday night at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church. The reception was held at Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club's newly built, European-style $42 million ballroom where the Michael Rose Orchestra serenaded the guests.

Among those attending were: Sen. Hillary Clinton, Shaquille O'Neal, Barbara Walters, Billy Joel, Tony Bennett, Katie Couric, Rudolph Giuliani, Star Jones-Reynolds, Matt Lauer, Kathie Lee and Frank Gifford, Kelly Ripa, Russell Simmons, Don King and Chris Matthews, as well "The Apprentice's" George H. Ross and Carolyn Kepcher, the Palm Beach (Fla.) Post reports.

The 34-year-old first-time bride wore a rhinestone-studded Christian Dior gown with a 13-foot train that weighed 50 pounds and cost a reported $200,000.

Palm Beach refused Trump's request to have fireworks, but architect Pete Mason decided to shoot some rockets off his own boat in the ocean.
