Charlize Theron will present at Oscars

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Charlize Theron will be a presenter on the upcoming Academy Awards telecast, producer Gil Cates announced Wednesday.

Theron won the Oscar last year for Best Actress, for her performance as serial killer Aileen Wuornos in "Monster." She was nominated for a Golden Globe this year for her performance in the HBO movie "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers."

The 77th Academy Awards will be presented on Feb. 27 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, in ceremonies to be televised live over ABC.
