LOS ANGELES, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Lisa Kudrow, of "Friends," is set to star in a new HBO comedy "The Comeback," in June, which she co-created and co-wrote.

She collaborated with Michael Patrick King of "Sex and the City" fame on a show about a formerly hot comedy actress trying for a TV comeback by allowing reality TV cameras to follow her around, the New York Daily News reported Saturday.

"To me, "nothing is more humiliating than reality cameras photographing people," she told members of the Television Critics Association in Los Angeles.

Kudrow said she and her "Friends" castmates spontaneously ate almost every meal together their final week of taping.

"So it kind of went back to where we started, which was nice," she said. "It was a great way to leave."
