People's Choice to 'Passion,' 'Fahrenheit'

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- The 31st Annual People's Choice Favorite Movie award went to Michael Moore for his controversial documentary, "Fahrenheit 9/11."

Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" took the award for best dramatic film, while Julia Roberts in "Closer" and Johnny Depp in "Finding Neverland" won the most favorite female and male movie stars of the year votes cast over the Internet. It was Roberts' 10th win, Zap2it.com said.

"Shrek 2" won three honors, for best sequel, best animated movie and favorite comedy.

In the TV categories, "Will and Grace," won for favorite comedy, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" was named favorite drama, "American Idol" best reality show competition and "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica" won for best reality show.

The Sunday night show was hosted by Jason Alexander of "Seinfeld" and his "Listen Up" co-star Malcolm Jamal-Warner, and featured surprise appearances by Prince, William Shatner and Mike Myers.
