Clint Eastwood among DGA nominees

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- The Director Guild of America named Clint Eastwood and Marc Forster among nominees for outstanding directorial achievement in feature film for 2004.

Others on the list are Taylor Hackford, Alexander Payne and Martin Scorsese, the Daily Variety reported.

The DGA choices followed the PGA's nominees for best picture closely. The only difference was the DGA favoring Taylor Hackford for U's "Ray" over the PGA's pick of Disney's "The Incredibles."

The winner will be announced at the 57th annual DGA Awards dinner on Sat. Jan. 29, at the Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles.

Eastwood was named for "Million Dollar Baby," Forster for "Finding Neverland," Hackford for "Ray," Payne for "Sideways," and Scorsese for "The Aviator"
