LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Comic actors Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are being taken to task by a guest who was injured during a New Year's Eve bash the couple threw in 2002.
The suit, brought by Ivan Harden, said he was standing near a dance floor at the couple's home with a drink when a wild dancer knocked the glass into his face, "Celebrity Justice" reported.
Harden's suit says DeVito and Perlman were responsible for "making sure the dance floor and surrounding area were not overcrowded and that persons dancing were not doing so in a wild manner" during the party to ring in 2003.
Attorney Vicki Roberts said, however, it will be difficult to make a case against the actors.
"The defense is going to argue, 'Why were you standing so close to the dance floor with a loaded glass in your hand? You should have backed up from the revelers and dancers,'" Roberts said.
