Hallmark to re-introduce 'Mystery Movie'

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- The Hallmark Channel was preparing Sunday to introduce an update of the"Mystery Movie" franchise with three TV shows lined up to rotate weeks.

"Mystery Movie" premiers Friday, Jan. 7, with "Mystery Woman," a show that stars Kellie Martin as a mystery-solving bookstore owner, Zap2it reported Sunday. One week later, John Larroquette will star as cop-turned-attorney in "McBride." Then, Jan. 21, Lea Thompson will star as a housewife called back to duty as a government agent in "Jane Doe."

The three shows will alternate weekly in the same order.
