LOS ANGELES, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- The mother of actor-singer David Cassidy's 17-year-old daughter wants a big boost in child support payments.
Cassidy, who played Keith in the legendary "Partridge Family" show, is being accused in court filings of abandoning daughter Katie and speaking abusively to her, "Celebrity Justice" reported Tuesday.
Cassidy, 54, pays $3,700 per month in child support to Sherry Benedon, who filed the court papers on her daughter's behalf.
The documents charge Cassidy called his daughter, "a spoiled little bitch," and his lack of presence has fueled her "anxiety, anger and depression."
Lawyers for Cassidy say Benedon is just frustrated that her last attempt to get the courts to extract more money from Cassidy flopped: the judge decided Cassidy was actually paying too much.
