NEW YORK, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Actress Jessica Biel says her vampire-slaying "Blade: Trinity" character could easily beat her squeaky-clean "7th Heaven" alter-ego in a fight.
Biel portrayed Mary Camden on the popular WB drama for several years, but can now be seen playing a "nighstalker" in the third installment of the "Blade" franchise.
"Mary wouldn't last very long," Biel, 22, told reporters in New York. "Now I've got all of these skills. I could whup on her."
Although Biel insisted her TV stint was a good experience, she admitted it can limit an actor because he or she is only viewed as one well-known character.
"When people see you every week in their homes, they think they know you and pretty soon producers and studio executives see that and they think: 'Oh, she can't do anything else. She can only do television,'" Biel noted. "And that's all I was trying to do is say: 'Look, I can do more.'"
