PETA bashes ex-spokesmodel Crawford

NORFOLK, Va., Dec. 8 (UPI) -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals took a verbal bite out of former PETA spokesmodel Cindy Crawford for appearing in fur coat ads, MSNBC reported.

"With that big furry mole on her face, you'd think she'd be more sensitive to the plight of animals," MSNBC quoted PETA as saying about Crawford. She was second on PETA's Worst Dressed of 2004 list for appear in advertisement for fur this year.

"View" co-host Star Jones Reynolds was No. 1. for "the amount of dead animals she wore at her wedding" and actress Jennifer Lopez was No. 3 on the worst-dressed list for treating animals' lives like her relationships, "short and painful," PETA said.

Actors Susan Lucci and Ashley Olsen were fourth and fifth on the list.
