Entertainers at wounded veterans conference

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Toby Keith, Lee Ann Womack, Gary Sinise, the Lt. Dan Band and Chely Wright will perform at a conference honoring wounded veterans in Orlando, Fla.

The Coalition to Salute America's Heroes 1st Annual Road to Recovery Conference & Tribute is scheduled Dec. 8-12 at Walt Disney World.

In addition to the musical performances, Michael Israel, an internationally acclaimed performance artist, will create several works of art Thursday night.

Actress Bo Derek will serve as an awards presenter during the conference that's designed to honor and assist severely wounded and disabled troops.

The conference will provide support and encouragement for the wounded and disabled troops. The event includes seminars on job training, career counseling opportunities and private needs assessment consultations.
