LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- U.S. pop rocker Ashlee Simpson will perform live online as part of the AOL Music series -- AOL's original programming on the Internet.

AOL Music LIVE! will broadcast the special event to both AOL for Broadband members and on the Internet at aolmusic.com. The live broadcast is scheduled Monday at 11 p.m. EST/8 p.m. PST, from the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.

In addition, online fans can tune in to hear a simultaneous audio broadcast on the AOL Radio Network -- the concert will be available on demand for 11 days.

"I'm really looking forward to doing this special AOL concert," said Simpson. "I had so much fun recording for Sessions@AOL, and performing for a live audience of so many people online is going to be really exciting."

Ashlee Simpson's exclusive performance follows AOL Music LIVE! events with Usher, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte, Rod Stewart, Josh Groban, Nelly, Usher and Toby Keith.
