NEW YORK, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- The National Board of Review of Motion Pictures named "Finding Neverland" the best film of 2004 Wednesday.
The other films on the NBR's Top 10 list are: "The Aviator"; "Closer"; "Million Dollar Baby"; "Sideways"; "Kinsey"; "Vera Drake"; "Ray"; "Collateral"; and "Hotel Rwnada."
The Board named "The Sea Inside" Best Foreign Language film, and "Born into Brothels" as top documentary. "The Incredibles" was named Best Animated Feature.
Jamie Foxx won for Best Actor for "Ray." Annette Being was named Best actress for "Being Julia." Michael Mann was named Best Director for "Collateral."
Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor won for Best Adapted Screenplay for "Sideways." Charlie Kaufman won for Best Original Screenplay for "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."
The NBR also said it would present its Career Achievement Award to Jeff Bridges, its Producers Award to Jerry Bruckheimer, and a special achievement award to Clint Eastwood for producing, directing, acting and composing the score of "Million Dollar Baby."
The organization also recognized "Fahrenheit 9/11," "The Passion of the Christ" and "Conspiracy of Silence" for reflecting freedom of expression.
Winners will be honored at the NBR's annual gala on Jan. 11, 2005, in New York.
