McLachlan pleased with live CD/DVD set

DETROIT, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan was proud of her concerts supporting her 2003 album "Afterglow," so she wanted to document them.

But she was initially unhappy with her performance at the Toronto concert filmed and taped this year for the new "Afterglow Live" CD and DVD set.

"I, for some reason, almost exclusively every single time get sick when I'm in Toronto," McLachlan says. "And of course I was sick when we shot it, so I didn't sing as well as I could have sang. I listened to it a few days later and just basically sobbed. Then I listened again about three weeks later, and luckily it wasn't half as bad as I thought it was."

McLachlan acknowledges she did go into the studio to "tweak" a few of her vocal performances, however.

She plans to tour the world again in 2005, but no specific dates have yet been announced.
