Lindsay Lohan blamed for flight delay

NEW YORK, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Airline passengers are blaming Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan for delaying a New York to Los Angeles flight.

"She couldn't get on the plane," one traveler at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. "She was throwing a hissyfit and there was total chaos."

However, Lohan's publicist said she was the victim of scheduling mischief, reported MSNBC Tuesday.

"Lindsay was traveling with two friends and when they arrived at the airport they found that all their flights had been mysteriously cancelled," says Lohan's representative, who also acknowledged that there may have been some havoc at the airport Sunday.

"It wasn't Lindsay's fault," the representative said. "She and her friends ended up taking other flights."
