LOS ANGELES, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Rick Schroder has signed to co-star with JoBeth Williams in the cable TNT network original movie "14 Hours," Daily Variety said Wednesday.

The movie -- the latest in a series of Johnson & Johnson Spotlight Presentation specials -- is based on the true story of patients and staff at a Texas hospital who have to come together and protect one another during a major storm.

"The Cowboy Way" director Gregg Champion will direct from a script by Danilo Bach, who penned "Beverly Hills Cop."

It is the sixth TNT movie to be produced under the J&J banner. The most recent project -- "The Wool Cap," starring William H. Macy -- is scheduled to premiere on TNT on Nov. 21.

Schroder most recently starred in "NYPD Blue" and the A&E movie "The Lost Battalion." Williams -- who starred in "Poltergeist" and "The Big Chill" -- is in the cast of the upcoming Farrelly brothers comedy "Fever Pitch" with Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon.
