The Billings Gazette reported that Republican incumbent Denny Rehberg was elected to another term in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The measure defining marriage as being between a man and a woman, and the proposal that would protect medicinal pot smokers and their caregivers from prosecution both passed overwhelmingly.

Another proposal to repeal the ban on the use of deadly cyanide in mining was rejected.
