LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Despite Jennifer Lopez's silence about her marriage to Marc Anthony, a songwriter for her next album has written tunes about the romance.

Rodney Jerkins penned "You Got Me" about Lopez's love life, one of two tracks the veteran songwriter wrote for the actress/singer's upcoming album, MTV.com reported.

"From what I looked at on TV, from newspapers and everything, I just took that and created a song about it. It's basically saying, 'No matter what people say about relationships, about us, no matter what their view is, you got me and I got you.' That's the bottom line," Jerkins said.

A second song, "Step Into My World," is "basically just exploring J. Lo's world and what her world is all about," Jerkins said.

Jerkins wrote "If You Had My Love," Lopez's breakthrough single.

An official release date hasn't been set, but a record company spokeswoman told MTV the project may be out in early 2005.
