LONDON, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- British modern artist Damien Hirst will design the CD sleeve for the new Band Aid single "Do They Know It's Christmas?"
The recording will be released Nov. 29, the BBC reported Monday.
The new version includes Robbie Williams, Dido, Chris Martin, Sugababes, Morcheeba's Skye Edwards and Supergrass' Danny Goffey.
The Darkness' Justin Hawkins, Travis singer Fran Healey Beverley Knight and Jamelia have also been confirmed, but a Band Aid spokesman said they are still waiting to hear from Keane and Snow Patrol.
The single will cost about $7 and proceeds will go to help famine relief in the Darfur region of Sudan. The original Band Aid single, conceived by Bob Geldof to alleviate famine in Ethiopia, sold 3.5 million copies in the United Kingdom in 1984.
