Soprano co-star gets another TV deal

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- The actor who plays Janice Soprano's husband on the HBO series is getting a chance to play another mob guy, this time one he created himself.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Steve R. Schirripa has signed a deal with Touchstone TV to star in a dramatization of his book "The Goomba's Guide To Life." In the book, Schirripa had some fun with cliched views of Italian-Americans.
