NEW YORK, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Home diva Martha Stewart reportedly is working on recipes using fare from the commissary of the West Virginia prison where she is incarcerated.

The New York Daily News reports Stewart is also exercising regularly and taking notes on a prison typewriter.

"Because she is so positive and resilient, she's making the most out of it," attorney Walter Dellinger said.

Stewart has been sharing bathrooms and showers, and living in a two-person cubicle inside a large dormitory since her widely publicized arrival at so-called Camp Cupcake, the federal prison at Alderson, W.Va., two weeks ago.

Her days begin at 5:30 a.m., says Dellinger, and are occupied by working with fellow inmates on recipes using commissary food and a microwave oven.

"She's working on various recipes that are available in the prison," he said. "She's exploring the uses of the microwave and what to do with limited ingredients."

Stewart has also had several visits from her daughter, Alexis.
