LOS ANGELES, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Britain's celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay may be in hot water for an alleged brawl with a contestant on the U.S. version of "Hell's Kitchen."
A contestant on the Fox reality series, being filmed in Los Angeles, sprained his ankle after falling during an alleged clash with Ramsay, Sky News reported Monday.
"One cast member did hurt his ankle on set and was taken to hospital, where it was diagnosed as a sprain," a Ramsay spokeswoman said. "He was advised to rest and therefore taken off the show. This is a minor matter. This is all we are advised to say at this moment."
The program, scheduled to be telecast in January, is described by a Fox news release as: "a culinary boot camp featuring the drama of a group of wannabe Cordon Bleu chefs and aspiring restaurateurs running a top-class restaurant, overseen by world-renowned but equally terrifying head chef, Gordon Ramsay."
