In his motion seeking the extension of the restraining order, Gibson accused Sinclair of sending "alarming, harassing and annoying" letters and repeatedly showing up at the actor's Malibu home.

Sinclair currently is in jail for investigation of disorderly conduct and loitering at Gibson's property. He will appear in court next Tuesday to answer to the criminal charge.
