Renee Zellweger taking a break from films

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Actress Renee Zellweger, who recently finished filming the "Bridget Jones' Diary" sequel, plans to take a year off to relax with her friends.

Zellweger said in this week's Time magazine that her $11 million salary did not prevent the 35-year-old actress from wanting a normal life.

"The work is all-encompassing and there are so many things that you are not allowed in your life, because of it. Conventional friendships, unconditional friendships. I'd like to have coffee every day with my friends. I envy my friends who have that. So I'm stopping, I'm not really considering anything until this time next year," Zellweger said.

Zellweger reprised her role as Jones in "The Edge of Reason."
