LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Rare photographs of George Harrison and song lyrics from the late ex-Beatle were stolen from his sister in Little Rock, Ark., it was reported Tuesday.
The one-of-a-kind mementos were taken Sunday from Lou Harrison's car while parked outside the Clinton Presidential Library, KTHV-TV, Little Rock, Ark., said.
"There's not enough things to leave for my grandchildren. So I thought maybe if I could house them at the Clinton Library, where they could be on display, that all the Beatle people could enjoy seeing them," Harrison told KTHV.
Harrison, who had driven to Little Rock from her southern Illinois home, had taken most of the items inside when she returned to her car to find the glass shattered and a briefcase containing other collectibles missing.
"Well, (the memorabilia is) precious to me obviously because I don't have my brother in person any more," Harrison said in asking Beatles fans to watch for the stolen items on the Internet.
A library spokesman called the crime a random theft.
