Kimberly Locke begins U.S. tour

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Kimberley Locke, who had the hit single "Eight World Wonder," began her first U.S. concert tour, "One Love Live," in West Springfield, Mass.

Locke, who was second runner up on Fox's second "American Idol," began her multi-city tour with a full band Saturday. Locke will performing in cities through the fall and winter that include: Alexandria, Va.; Minneapolis; Chicago; Dayton, Ohio; and Las Vegas.

"I'm so thrilled about having a band to perform with on-stage," Locke said in a statement. "I can't wait to have that interaction with the boys in the band and the audience."

The show includes tunes from her debut album, "One Love" including: "Wrong," "Coulda Been" and her new single -- the R&B "You've Changed," which Locke co-wrote.

Locke said she knows that fans will want to hear songs she performed on "American Idol."

"I'll definitely include one or two from the show and I'm also working on a big diva medley, where I'll sing songs made famous by my idols -- Patti LaBell and Judy Garland," said Locke.
