HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- TV personality Tom Arnold reportedly is furious at the The Globe tabloid for its story about a movie star's effort to save his son from drugs.

A long-time opponent of tabloids, Arnold, who hosts "The Best Damn Sports Show, Period," told "Celebrity Justice" The Globe allegedly infiltrated a 12-step recovery meeting to get information for the article about the movie star's son.

"It was terrible what they did. It's disgusting, it's life threatening," Arnold told "CJ."

Arnold vowed to issue an ultimatum to the head of the company that owns The Globe, to never infiltrate meetings again.

Or else, Arnold threatened to bring that other Arnold -- his old friend and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger -- to bring legislation to make recovery meetings a sacred place much like the church confessional.

A spokesman for The Globe's parent company said they respect Tom Arnold, but the tabloid reports on public figures and they will decide how to do it on a case-by-case basis.
