Phoenix breaks down on Cash biopic set

MEMPHIS, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Actor Joaquin Phoenix was reportedly taken by ambulance from the Memphis, Tenn., set of his latest movie after the script evoked memories of his dead brother.

Phoenix, starring in the Johnny Cash biopic "Walk the Line," began banging his head against the wall after a scene about the country star's younger brother, Jack, who died in an electrical accident, the World Entertainment News Network reported Tuesday.

Phoenix was 19 when his brother, River, died of an overdose in 1993 outside The Viper Room, a Los Angeles nightclub.

WENN said there were rumors that Phoenix's emotional problems could force the "Walk the Line" production to moved from Tennessee to Hollywood.
