Awards for best feature, best short, best director, best actor and best actress will be presented in a ceremony at the AFI Silver Theater on Oct. 2.

The festival is presented by the Organization of American States, AFI and the Association of Ibero-American Cultural Attachés. This year's screening schedule includes 32 features and 19 shorts from 15 participating nations -- including, for the first time, Nicaragua.

The schedule includes "Sex with Love", the top box-office attraction of 2003 in Chile.
