Girlfriend cast in Rod Stewart musical

LONDON, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- British model Penny Lancaster has been cast in "Tonight's The Night," a West End musical about her boyfriend, rocker Rod Stewart.

Lancaster, who recently made a guest appearance in the show, will join the production as a featured dancer for the troupe performing to Stewart's hit "Hot Legs, beginning Sept. 27, Sky News reported Wednesday.

Lancaster will perform with the cast for the show's final two weeks.

Stewart, 59, reportedly will attend his 33-year-old girlfriend's opening night at the Victoria Palace.

"Tonight's The Night," based on Stewart's hit songs and written by comic Ben Elton, is closing after less than a year.
