LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- ABC will present a two-hour reunion special for the 30th anniversary of the classic TV comedy "Happy Days," Daily Variety said Thursday.

The paper said "The Happy Days 30" will feature everyone from the original cast of Garry Marshall's hit comedy -- including Ron Howard and Henry Winkler, who will executive produce the special.

Variety said no airdate has been set, but the special might run during a ratings sweep period, possibly as soon as November.

Plans call for appearances by Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams -- who first appeared as Laverne DiFazio and Shirley Feeney on "Happy Days," and then went on to star in the hit comedy, "Laverne & Shirley." Other cast members slated to appear include Tom Bosley, Marion Ross, Erin Moran, Anson Williams, Don Most, Scott Baio, Pat Morita, Crystal Bernard, Linda Purl and Cathy Silvers.

ABC executive Andrea Wong said the network had been wanting to do the special for a long time.

"It was an absolute no-brainer," she said.
