LOS ANGELES, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Former 1970s "CHiPS" star Erik Estrada is among several celebrities to be featured in a series of U.S. public service announcements on liver health.

Pamela Anderson, Naomi Judd, Angela Lansbury and Mike Piazza will join Estrada in speaking out against liver disease and raising awareness for liver-related issues, the American Liver Foundation said Saturday.

September is Liver Health & Awareness Month at the Univision, a Spanish-language media company, and each PSA will provide audiences with liver health information that focuses on a specific liver-related topics such as: Obesity & Fatty Liver Disease, Hepatitis C, Vaccine-Preventable Hepatitis and Managing Medications.

Estrada will encourage the public to learn more about liver disease and prevent infection by consulting with their doctors and by contacting the ALF for more information.
