NEW YORK, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- "Six Feet Under" actor Peter Krause says the best thing about starring on Broadway in New York in "After the Fall" has been working with Arthur Miller.
"It's been incredible," Krause told reporters in New York. "Arthur came to four rehearsals. And the first time we did a run through, it was in front of Arthur ... So, performing the play for Arthur when he was just a few feet away, was very daunting, and a good test of my nerves."
The actor who plays the recently widowed undertaker, Nate, on HBO's "Six Feet Under," said the playwright also attended three preview performances of his semi-autobiographical play, "After the Fall," and spent about an hour with him after each show, talking with Krause about the story and his character.
"It's been incredible," Krause said. "Arthur is very generous with his time and his talents."
However, Krause admitted juggling two emotionally draining roles has taken a lot out of him.
"It has," he confessed. "It's very difficult playing two difficult roles. But it's been a pleasure."
