NEW YORK, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Mary-Kate Olsen reportedly had aspirations of becoming a chef before she entered a U.S. treatment facility for an eating disorder, it was reported Tuesday.
"I want to go to culinary school because I love cooking. One day I'd love to open up a restaurant or cafe," Olsen, 18, said in an interview given before she spent six weeks at an undisclosed rehabilitation facility for an eating disorder, World Entertainment News Network reported Tuesday.
Mary-Kate left the center in late July where she reportedly was treated for anorexia.
Several U.S. tabloids claimed Mary-Kate also was battling a cocaine addiction, an accusation vehemently denied by the Olsen camp.
The tabloids have called off their claims, however, with lawyers for both sides announcing a truce.
"Our lawyers came into an agreement with their lawyers," said an Olsen spokesman.
A picture of a smiling Mary-Kate, just out of rehab, and sister Ashley graced the cover of this week's Star, one of the magazines that published the cocaine story.
Mary-Kate and Ashley are set to enter New York University this fall as freshmen.
