Estefan serious that tour will be her last

MIAMI, July 23 (UPI) -- Gloria Estefan promises she's not kidding about her upcoming concert tour being her last.

"I thought about it quite a bit; it's not something I foresee reconsidering," says Estefan, 46, who started making hits with the Miami Sound Machine in 1987 and has sold 70 million albums worldwide.

"I've spent a lot of time touring and traveling, and, quite honestly, it's physically grueling. In the evolution of my life, I can foresee other things that are going to take up a lot of time that I'll want to do."

But Estefan -- whose Live and Re-Wrapped tour kicks off July 30 in Hidalgo, Texas -- says she's not completely retiring from music and still plans to record and play special one-off shows in the future. The mother of two will also continue her existing charitable and business endeavors, including a hotel resort property in central Florida.
