LOS ANGELES, July 12 (UPI) -- Actress Drea de Matteo said in Los Angeles that she does not know if her character in HBO's "The Sopranos" survives getting whacked in the woods.
De Matteo, who signed on as a series regular for "Joey," the NBC spin-off of "Friends," said once she signed with the new show, her character getting killed was only a matter of time, reported Zap2it.com.
"Some people still aren't sure if I'm dead or alive, only (writer/producer) David Chase knows the answer to that question," de Matteo said.
In the episode, de Matteo's character, Adriana La Cerva, was seen taken into the woods with henchman Silvio, played by Steven Van Zandt, and shots were heard. However, while her attempt to crawl away was shown, viewers did not see whether she made it out, or was killed.
"I just kept crawling," De Matteo said. "I crawled all the way to NBC."
